Single Parents Speed Mingling & Networking

When’s the last time you met 8-16 potential dates face to face in one night? When's the last time everyone you met was also a single parent & didn't phase them if you were? Meet 8-10 singles who either have full, part or split custody of a child - just like you!
Speed dating gives you the chance to introduce yourself and find out 6 minutes worth of information on each potential date in the room. Six minutes isn’t long enough to know if he or she is “the one”, but you will know if there is enough spark for a great first date!
We will have conversational friendly music in the backgrounds and a private or semi-private area for us to mingle in. You’ll be emailed a list of you mutual matches within 24 hours of the event.
Remember... chemistry isn't found online.
What to Wear / What to Bring:
This is a casual event, business casual attire is fine. First impressions are important though, so dressing to impress is always the goal!
Bring business cards if you wish to exchange for networking.
Time:
Registration and check in begins at 7pm. Speed Dating begins at 7:15pm. Just like a first date, please be on time. Late arrivals (after 7:30) will probably not be seated untill the second round, therefore miss meeting half of the group.
Please be on time. The speed dating portion of event concludes around 9pm and the after-party mingling continues untill the bar closes at 2am.

About our Sponsor Venue:
We will be mingling at Kamehachi in Old Town, on the 
second floor in a very swanky private lounge. Kamehachi is one of the best sushi bars in Chicago, and the location really can't be beat. The private room we are in has it's own bar and is perfect for quiet conversations. Open until 2am, if you really hit it off with someone you can stay all night! I truly recommend coming early and dining before our event- as sushi is a naturalaphrodisiac! BTW, the food here is delish!
